Good Times In Charlotte
Charlotte was a blast (I'm heading out today since the GenPool finals are in the books)! We've been sponsoring the BCA hosted 9 ball event for some time now, and I can say without hyperbole that this one was a billion times better than any of the other events! In all seriousness, the event was really top notch. The arena looked great, the food was stellar and the pool... well the women played well. The men had a couple of pretty rough matches, but it was an absolute delight to see the future of the WPBA playing in the semis and finals. Jasmin Ouschan, Anna Kostanian, Ga Young Kim and the new champ Xaio Ting Pan all put on a hell of a show and were mega-entertaining.
Serious kudos to Rob, Trish and the rest of the BCA for putting on a top-notch event! I'm off to catch a plane. Trying to not think about the fact that it's Friday the 13th today... shudder.
